Sim Rules Section 12 - Miscellaneous Rules

Rule 12A - Drawn Final.
If a Sim finals match results in a draw, the match is replayed. Each owner is invited to re-select their team in order to achieve a higher score than originally achieved. The re-selected team must consist of the original 24 players selected (21 positions & 3 emergencies), but they may be selected in different positions.

Already knowing the Player stats usually enables an owner to select a team that scores considerably higher than the original. Normal qualifying rules apply for the re-selected corridor positions. The re-selected team with the higher score wins the match. The scores from replayed finals are not recognised for record score purposes, but the replayed match is, in other respects, a normal Sim final, with owners' and players' participation and scores added to their Sim history as usual.

If the re-selected teams result in another draw, well, we'll worry about that if it ever happens!

Rule 12B - Teamsheet not submitted.
If an owner fails to lodge a teamsheet during the Sim season, the selected team from the previous week will be retained. If a teamsheet is not submitted for any week during the Initial or Priority draft processes, the club relinquishes the opportunity to use the particular processes that are available during that week.

Rule 12C - Inactive Owner.
If an owner fails to submit a teamsheet for five consecutive weeks without explanation, that owner shall be deemed to have relinquished ownership of the club. The five consecutive weeks can include the three weeks of the initial draft process. Payment of the annual subscription DOES NOT confer an owner the right to dismantle, intentionally damage, or damage by neglect, the viability of a Sim club.

Rule 12D - Sim Player Delisted by AFL Club.
Rule 12D(1) - The Dragacevic Clause.
